What To Do Before Treatment

Arrange pet treatment at vet or pet groomer before we arrive.

Thoroughly clean all areas that pet frequents or infestation is suspected.  Vacuum carpeted and upholstered areas.  All pet bedding should be laundered.  Mop or wash hard surfaces that pet frequents.

Clear areas of pet toys, dishes, or other items of clutter so a more effective treatment can be applied.

Occupants should plan to vacate for at least two hours or until all surfaces are dry.

A fine mist of flea and tick control material will be applied to appropriate surfaces to eliminate the adult population.  A residual material will remain to control hatching pupae.  Pupae can hatch out for as long as two weeks, depending on the environment.

Fleas may hatch out for some time following the treatment. Vacuum areas where fleas are noticed and dispose of the vacuum contents in a sealed bag.
